The PREMIUM EFFICIENCY IE3 motors provide compliance with the requirements of EU MEPS that has come into force January 1, 2015 and NEMA EPAct/EISA, which has been in force since December 2010 in the USA and January 2011 in Canada.

AMPH SERIES: nominal full load efficiency according to IE3 @ 460V-60Hz and NEMA MG 1 - table 12-12 (Premium Efficiency) @ 460V-60Hz. Motors comply with EISA Directive (Energy Independence and Security Act, 2007). Efficiency testing method CSA C390-10. Motors verified by UL Environment.
